Our approach to leverage community strengths, promote holistic well-being, and foster collaboration to achieve shared goals, ensuring sustainable and meaningful change:
Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is a strategy focused on identifying and leveraging the strengths, skills, and resources within a community. By building on these assets, ABCD empowers individuals and groups to drive their own sustainable development and create positive change from within.
The Five Ways to Wellbeing, a UK government initiative, identifies five evidence-based actions to promote mental health and well-being: connecting (social relations), being active (movement), taking notice (awareness), keep learning (growth and mastery), and giving (prosocial behaviour). These actions are applicable to all ages.
Collective Impact is a collaborative approach to solving complex social issues, involving a common agenda, shared measurements, coordinated activities, continuous communication, and backbone support. By aligning efforts and resources, it aims for significant, lasting change through cross-sector partnerships, addressing problems too complex for single organizations to tackle alone.
