There are four key projects at Handsworth RISE. These are:

Educational Support and Workshops:

We offer a variety of educational services to meet the needs of all ages. From after-school clubs for children to adult learning programs, we provide essential resources for personal and academic development. By offering support and specialized workshops, we ensure that residents of all ages have access to opportunities for growth and success.

Community-Led Initiatives:

Community Shop

Our Handsworth Rise Community Shop is a central part of our mission to provide accessible goods and services to the local community. The shop offers affordable, high-quality items, ranging from clothing and furniture to household goods. Revenue generated from the shop goes directly back into our community projects, ensuring that we can continue providing vital support for those in need.

It’s a place where people can access essential items, donate to help others, and contribute to the growth of the community.

Tuition Centre

Our Tuition Centre is designed to provide affordable, high-quality education for local students. We offer private tutoring for children in need, especially those from low-income families. The tuition centre also serves as a hub for academic preparation courses, IELTS classes, and vocational training for adults seeking new skills.

Through personalized learning, we help students reach their academic potential and build a stronger future. We also offer discounts and free tuition for eligible students from vulnerable backgrounds, ensuring everyone has access to educational opportunities.
